Jac: Hi Everyone! Guess what, it's collaboration time here on Trash Panda Puzzles! That's right, as I alluded to last week, today's collaboration crossword was right around the corner. Normally I'd write up some stuff about the crossword, but my fellow constructer Norah summed things up quite well. Check out her amazing crossword site here!

Norah: This collaboration has been a long time coming. Jac and I started working on this a few months ago, but then both of us had "life stuff" happen in kind of overlapping phases, so it got a little back-burnered for both of us for a while. I'm so grateful that we were both able to wait until we could give this puzzle the attention it deserved. Interestingly, when we came back together, looking at it with fresh eyes gave both of us new ideas for cluing and we even reworked parts of the grid here and there to freshen it up some.

I basically stole this half-and-half idea from this collaboration by Chris and Will - except we decided to connect the two halves. I plotted out a basic themeless grid, and it was Jac's idea to turn it on its side - which is how you get this lovely grid. We each filled half, then we each clued half, then we came back together and hashed out edits for the final set. Working with Jac is such a pleasure. He's thoughtful and kind and we had so much fun working on this together. We hope you enjoy!
