085: Ninth-Inning Hit - Teeny Tuesday

Happy Tuesday! It’s been an interesting last week. For starters, I had a chunk of my lawn excavated, a section of my sewer replaced, and a liner installed in the rest of my sewer. While I was basking in the sun watching the sewer workers go at it, I was alerted that a new position had posted at work. As you are reading this today, I made it past the initial hurdle and I’m in the process of being interviewed. For all I know, things could be a bit different in my life by the next Teeny Tuesday.
Speaking of the Teeny Tuesday, it’s crossword time! Like a lot of my Tuesday crosswords as of late, today’s is an 11x11 grid with standard symmetry. If you struggle with 20-Across, I apologize in advance, but I recommend looking it up once you’ve solved the grid. It’s a bizarre sculpture that has become a local icon. You’ll see in the stats below that the number of reused words is starting to creep up. Now that I’m passed 3,600 words used, I’m finding it increasingly difficult not to reuse a fair deal of 4-letter words. All this really means is I must be more creative in how I clue the reused words. Any who, happy solving!
